IFC and Lease Africa are working to develop a commercial leasing sector in Ethiopia. Clearcape has been an advisor in this since 2015 working with the National Bank, the Development Bank, regional and private leasing companies
for the World Bank
Since March 2016 I have been working with the Lighting Africa team in the World Bank to structure loans to support the private sector to deliver and scale up operations for renewable energy. To date I have contributed to facilities in Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, Rwanda and a regional project in West Africa.
